Me and Jo are heading up to Skye for a biking/camping weekend on the 15/16th May.


The Route

The Plan is to leave Jo's early in the morning and head over to the West coast of Scotland, and head North through Oban towards Fort William.  Jump on a short ferry from Corran to Ardgour (ferry info).
From there, take the scenic route (twisty route) to Mallaig, catching the ferry to Armadale, Skye (ferry info), then ride on up to Portree and find somewhere to camp for the night.


Day 2 will be a trip round Skye and then take the bridge to the mainland, passing the Kyle of Loch Alsh and Invergarry on the way to Fort William.  Detouring through Kinlochleven on the way through Glen Coe, then following the road South passing Bridge of Orchy, Tyndrum, Ardlui.  Then along the West shore of Loch Lomond back to Jo's.


In total about 520 miles!
